Car audio is our passion here at Certified Sounds. While it is true that we enjoy all of the work that we perform on our clients’ vehicles, it is the music that really gets us going. If you stop by our store and start talking about audio upgrades on your vehicle, you will see how quickly we get fired up. We love helping our clients build the best-sounding, most-reliable car stereo systems in Hawaii.
Here are the Top 5 reasons why we think you should get your car audio upgrade from Certified Sounds:
1. We Are Audio Experts
Designing and building car stereo systems is our life. We don’t sell appliances, we don’t do brake work and we don’t paint cars. We build great-sounding car audio systems. Our whole life as a business has been devoted to understanding all of the nuances in the acoustics of an automobile so we can design and build better-sounding systems. The products we offer to our clients are hand-chosen by our owner, Derek Pace, the only MECP Master Certified Car Stereo Installer in all of Hawaii. In fact, there are fewer than 300 master techs in the whole world.
2. Modern Electrical Systems Are Challenging
Vehicle manufacturers are using multiplexed wiring nowadays, which means one wire can serve multiple purposes. Fiber optic cabling has been present in vehicles since the early 2000s. And most importantly, modern audio systems interface and “talk” to all of the other electronics in the vehicle through what is known as a CAN-Bus network. What this means to you is pretty simple: Make sure whoever is going to work on your vehicle is qualified and knowledgeable on the subject. The team at Certified Sounds is not intimidated by this modern technology. Rather, we embrace it and know how to integrate properly with it.
3. Our Installation Standards Are Higher
We solder, tape and heat-shrink all of our connections. Our tape is made by TESA and imported from Europe. It is the same tape used by Mercedes-Benz and BMW – the finest, most-reliable product available, designed exclusively for the automobile market. We never use wood products in the doors of vehicles to hold speakers because we know that moisture will cause swelling and breakdowns over time. Instead, we use a composite material called Sintra that is impervious to water so it will last a lifetime in your vehicle.
4. Diagnostic Equipment Is Critical For Working On Modern Vehicles
Certified Sounds owns several thousand dollars in test equipment so we can do the job right the first time for you. If you go to a shop that doesn’t have a test cart filled with diagnostic equipment, we suggest turning around and walking out, as they aren’t qualified to work on your vehicle.
5. We Sell Complete Solutions, Not Individual Products
Certified Sounds gets to know our clients and their goals for audio upgrades. We look over your vehicle extensively and sit in it with you so we can hear what you are hearing. At that point, we take all of the information we’ve gathered and offer you complete installed solutions that will best fit your unique needs.
Please consider this your invitation to stop by Certified Sounds with your vehicle and get to know us better. We think you are going to find that we are a different kind of retailer – one that listens to our clients and wants to build long-term relationships.
