We often get asked the question “why should I do business with you instead of buying it on the internet?” That is a very good question and we feel we have solid answers for you so let’s get right to it.
Solutions That Get To The Root Of The Problem
First and foremost the products that we sell here at Certified Sounds are very technical in nature. We do not sell items like pens and pencils. Obviously, there are many items that you can buy that you can just take out of its packaging and start using it. That is not the case with most of our items. Many times a customer comes to us looking for a solution and they have an idea of what they “need” when in reality, after spending time with us, they realize they needed something completely different. You see, modern technology is changing at whirlwind speeds. We specialize in only a few categories, all of which we are considered to be experts in. Here is an example: A customer comes to us saying they need an aux input adapter to allow them to play their portable device on their car stereo. After getting to know them, their vehicle, and the products they intend to use, it may make more sense to install a Bluetooth kit that allows them wireless music streaming and hands-free call capability on the same device, all without cabling. So we got to the root of their needs and offered a solution catered to that, not their initial question.
We Install This Stuff Every Day. We Know What Works
Next comes the installation of the product. People will often call us with a particular product they bought online asking us how much it costs to get installed. They are blown away when we tell them the product will not work on their particular vehicle. They tell us that they were told it would work. We explain that the product they bought will work with the upgraded audio system in their vehicle, but not the base level audio system present in their vehicle. We will then proceed to ask some pertinent questions as to why they wanted that product, and many times will have a solution that will work great for them. They are relieved and disappointed as they have to ship the wrong part back, wait for their credit card to be refunded, and then they can get the proper solution installed by us. They commonly say “I should have just called you first”.
After The Sale, We’ve Got Your Back
Lastly, you have to figure out how to use your shiny new widget that was just installed in your vehicle. You could drive away from the store, go home and download the no longer included the owner’s manual and sit in the driveway reading it, trying to figure out how to use it. That does not happen at Certified Sounds because we go out to your vehicle with you and show you how to use it. We will do things like help you pair your wireless device, enter an address on your navigation system, get a movie playing on your entertainment system, or go over the operation of your remote starter. We don’t charge extra for that. It is all included for free when you buy the product at our facility. And if you have more questions the next day, next week, or next year, it is still free. We have your back. Period.
