Certified Sounds in Wailuku, Hawaii is proud to offer the new Compustar Dash, a High Definition video surveillance and security system. These products are designed to give the vehicle owner recorded video of incidents that may occur while the vehicle is moving and while it is parked. The benefit to the end user is the ability to prove innocence or fault in challenging situations.
Compustar Dash Camera Sets The Bar
This is not a new product category, but rather a new product IN this category by a world-class company. Many of the dash camera “solutions” currently offered are either big and bulky commercial products or extremely low quality, bargain basement grade products. Compustar brings their design and manufacturing prowess to this category and has delivered what we feel will be a game changer for the consumer. Let’s explore its features and capabilities.
Front And Rear Cameras and Optional GPS
The Compustar Dash includes two cameras, one forward mounted camera that attaches to the front windshield and a rear-facing camera that mounts to the rear window. They come with a total of 240 degrees of video coverage. The system is constantly recording and allows the owner to pick the percentage of storage that is dedicated to parked versus moving activity. An optional GPS antenna will allow marking the exact location of any incident.
Integrated Shock Sensor Locks In Important Video
One very neat feature that we like here at Certified Sounds is the integrated shock sensor. Whenever the sensor detects an impact it will lock twenty seconds before the impact and twenty seconds after the impact of video that does not get overwritten. Imagine this scenario: you go out to your car one day and notice a nice rub mark on your rear bumper. You know it did not happen where it is currently parked so it must have happened in the past. No problem. You take the memory card out of the Dash and put it in your computer and look for instances of when your shock sensor went off. Then you watch the video and can see who ran into your vehicle. If you can see a tag number, take that information to the police department…..I think you get the idea.
Keeping Honest People Honest
In this day and age of honesty and integrity not being what it used to be, and with the cost of a vehicle and insurance going up every year, we feel this is an excellent investment. The recorded video does seem to have a way of keeping honest people honest. If you care about your vehicle as much as we think you do, this is a no brainer. We invite you to stop by our store and we will gladly give you detailed information and while you are here we can scope out your vehicle and show you where the two small cameras will be mounted. As always, feel free to contact us today!
