When we are talking to people here at Certified Sounds about a remote car starter or a security system, many people think they are limited to a few basic features. What separates us from the competition is our ability to custom-design a solution that best fits our customers’ needs.
Here are our top 10 security and remote starter options:
1. Extended Range
Extended range is one of our most popular features. Many folks think that all systems have a similar range. The reality is that, when you go from a basic system to a top-of-the-line system, the range can be 10 times better. Now you can remote-start your vehicle when leaving the office, church, mall, dinner, etc. – not just from your house.
2. Two-Way Communication
Two-way systems get confirmation back to the remote control that they have performed your desired request. If you ask your vehicle to start and it is hundreds of feet away, you will now know it is running. And if it has a security system, you will be alerted if someone is tampering with your vehicle, and may be able to thwart the theft itself.
3. Smartphone Control
Smartphone-controlled systems give you the ability to control your remote starter or alarm system from your iPhone, Android phone or computer. You will receive confirmation of the requested command, and will get notifications of vehicle tampering if you have a security system.
4. Vehicle Tracking
Vehicle tracking can be added to our smartphone-based systems so you can locate your vehicle at any time of day. It also allows you to have a geo-fence, so, if it is driven outside a certain area, you will receive an alert.
5. Window Control
Power window control can be added to many vehicles, so you can roll up your windows or down from your new system.
6. Backup Battery
Backup batteries are a popular option for a security system. If a thief disconnects your battery, the alarm system will still be active.
7. Digital Tilt Sensor
A tilt-and-motion sensor is a digital device that can sense your vehicle moving as little as three inches, yet will not issue a false alert from wind and rain. It will sound your alarm if the vehicle is jacked up to steal your wheels, or if a tow truck starts lifting your vehicle.
8. Remote Start Horn Honk
Horn-honk can be added to a remote starter – it will honk the horn as an audible alert of the doors locking.
9. Panic Alert
Panic alert can be added to a remote car starter – it will sound the horn, just like a factory system. Our security systems all come standard with this feature.
10. Trunk/Sliding Door Control
Control of your trunk and/or power sliding doors can be added to your system to mimic the control set of your factory remote.
11. Retaining Factory Remote
Remote-start control from your factory remote is possible on some vehicles. (I know we said this is our Top 10, but 11 is better than 10, right?)
